As you may know, we're looking to expand our food offer at The Catford House, and as part of that process we're on the hunt for a fantastic Head Chef to work with us to create finger-licking good food and tempting menus.
A zoom Q&A session with GCDA CEO Claire Pritchard will be held on Monday 21st September at 4pm, and the application closing date is Wednesday 14th October.

šWe're finalists in The Lewisham Business Awards 2026!š
We're really excited to share that less than one year on from opening The Catford House, we've made it to the final eight for the Best Bar or Pub category in this year's Mayor of Lewisham Business Awards!
These awards are a a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our local businesses and acknowledge the contribution they make to the borough.

Another of our fantastic yarn swaps is taking place on Saturday 19th September 1-4pm! Bring along any leftover yarn, those impulse buys you never used, or anything youāve fallen out of love with. (Label the fibre and weight if you can.) Patterns, notions and kits are welcome too.
Drop your items on the swap tables, grab a drink, and browse the colourful donations from other makers.
Take what inspires you, leave what you can, and enjoy chatting and swapping stories with fellow yarniacs.

š¬š¬ SECRET SCREENING AT TCH! š¬š¬
Weāre hosting a FREE secret Film Screening and Mending session on Monday 28th September along with local garment repair and upcycling experts Madsdoandmend.
Come along at 6pm, get mending and learn new tips, then settle down for an amazing
indie film celebrating all that is craft and handmade at 6.30pm. The social will continue once the film is finished.
