Make your own clothes - beginners

Have you been dreaming of learning to sew in 2026?

Ready to stop admiring handmade clothes and start making your own?

This friendly, hands-on course is designed especially for complete beginners - plus anyone who’d love a confidence-boosting refresher with a sewing machine.

Over five relaxed and supportive sessions, you’ll build essential sewing skills step by step. We’ll start with the basics, getting comfortable with the machine, stitching techniques and simple construction, and then dive straight into creating your first wearable piece, using an existing garment as inspiration.
