Our Catford House Community Programme is kicking off in January 2026 with two courses designed to give you a flavour of what will be on offer over the year.
Fancy a bit of stash-busting sewing? Then join our Scrap 'n Stitch sessions! We've got six sewing machines ready to be revved into action. Over the course of five weeks, learn some easy ways of creating fabric from scraps and then make a collar, a fabric storage container, a clothes mending patch, and a bucket hat. You can do one session, or all five. You choose!
Starting on Tuesday 13th January (5.30-7.30pm) sessions are £10 each, or you can pay it forward for someone else by adding a little extra. Please contact us if the cost of the course is a barrier for you. maryjane@gcda.org.uk
Want to launch a food business? Taught by GCDA's CEO Claire Pritchard, this course is designed for anyone developing a food-based business and looking to navigate the complexities of getting it off the ground. From running pubs and restaurants, to helping launch dozens of start-up food businesses, Claire is THE person to help you move your ideas forward in 2026. Starting on Wednesday 28th January (4-6pm), this five-week course costs a total of £50 per person.
Please keep an eye on your inbox for further courses coming soon!
