Cheers my dear - the beer's here!

Each day takes us a step closer to opening The Catford House, and excitingly this week, the barrels have finally rolled in!

We've been working with London-based Portobello Brewery to get our tap room installed and stocked, and thanks to a massive amount of hard work, it's done!

Portobello was founded by Rob Jenkins & Farooq Khalid in September 2012. Rob is a beer industry veteran who’s worked across the industry in a career spanning 30+ years.

Portobello produces a year-round core range of session-strength beers which are augmented by a regularly changing line up of special seasonal brews using carefully sourced ingredients and innovative brewing techniques.

With the beer on tap, the next step is team training. We were given some top-class lessons on how to pull the perfect pint by Portobello's expert Elliott, who took our bar staff through their paces.

It's almost time to call first orders! We're really looking forward to seeing you at The Catford House later this November! ^🍺🍺
